The game is absolutely amazing!!! James is such a complex character with such a small amount of dialogue. It is so insanely impressive how good the atmosphere is. The radio mechanic and tank controls work perfectly to make you feel less powerful and just like a normal person trying to survive. All of the characters are so well written. I can almost sympathize with a psychopath like Eddie. The only major thing that puts me off about the game is the sometimes akward voice acting. Now don't get me wrong, Mary's letter had me crying (One of the best performances I have ever heard), but Laura's weird delivery took me out of the game during the tape scene. I am thinking about playing silent hill 3 but I don't know if I have to play 1 to understand it. Also it kinda sucks that I knew about the ending before playing 2 but it still somehow surprised me, I KNEW WHAT HE HAD DONE AND I WAS STILL SOMEHOW SHOCKED.
