Hi all!

I recently decided to take up making sourdough and I wanted to do it all myself. I am 48 hours in on making a starter and I came home to feed tonight and noticed green outlines in the starter. I had checked this like 3 hours before and didn’t see anything, but it took off in a short time. I’m assuming this smile and I’m assuming I need to start over.

That being said everything else seemed to be going great. I was doing 24 hour feed cycles with 150% saturation and everything was looking great until right now.

What could have caused this and how can I stop this from happening again?
