i (23 f) recently upped my wellbutrin to 300xr, and i didn’t expect this much of a change. i have been on 150xr for about 3/4ths of a year now, and i originally started it to help with my depression+anxiety but also because i have adhd and other medications have been pretty ineffective.
on another note, i have had almost no sex drive for 2 years, which is hard for a college aged girl to not have, especially since i have been on and off in a long term relationship. one of the things that has been a huge stressor for us is that i just didn’t ever want to have sex. not just with her, but with literally anyone.
it has been about 3 weeks since increasing my dose, and holy shit. this week, any of the anger symptoms i had on 150xr have disappeared, i feel genuinely happier, and my libido is off the charts. i am wanting sex ALL THE TIME. i also didn’t realize how much of a physical difference it would make (being wetter, orgasming easier, etc).
has anyone else had negative side affects (rage specifically) disappear when increasing dose? also can i expect this libido to stick around? is it normal to now want to jump my gf’s bones at all times with this med? input is appreciated!!
