Mexican 🇲🇽 gold

This beautiful MS70 1/2 Onza Libertad has some copper toning. It's naturally occuring coloration, it is a sign that it is authentic Mexican gold, therefore it is toning. I will make copper toning a thing someday, and when I do, this coin will be even more valuable.

Low pop of 500 minted. PCGS total graded pop is only 72, just 54 in MS70.

Toners!!!

Five different toners on the menu tonight!

First up, #641 has some antiquing gray with visible purple spots.

#641 - 1983 MS67 Libertad Toner - Photo 2 - $260

Toner #648 has strong dark purples on lower and upper left.

#648 - 1983 MS67 Libertad Toner - Photo 2 - $320

End roll toner #379 is much nicer than the MS65 suggests - with a clearly defined circular pattern.

At first, #638 is 'just' a pleasant blast white vision of Nike. But flip it over for strong purple toning, turning to greens in a couple areas.

Very Rare Great To Have Get It Fast 😂😂🤣

I think MS65+ 80s gorditas are way undervalued … but this is just lying, wow. I hope no one falls for this.
