So I have little to no lore info (love first three movies though), but I see here and there some glimps from current comics series and my question is - Aren't they all supposed to be pretty much hard dying spieces close to extinction? Maybe few thousands in numbers if they are lucky? How is it that there is so many factions with still pretty much stable armies? There factions on Cybetron, Earth being one big battlefield too, Predacons doing animal sounds too...

I know that Bay's universe is pretty much one massive mess, but even then I Always though that if Optimus and others are something then they are koalas - destined to die out.
