LS vs. HSV 1
Well I've been struggling recently and still am looking for answers. Ive related so much to what ppl are going through in this sub.
Over month ago I saw my new gyno with a variety of symptoms that were signs of clitoral adhesion, lichen sclerosis, and a yeast infection.
Spot on clitoris was main concern but is overlooked as it was in a mid stage of "healing" from my PCP prescribing clobatasol about a month earlier. Clobatasol (I think) plus stress created a flare that has lasted for a couple months maybe longer.
I have a history of "chronic yeast infections" happening post period. Ive had all the tests for std's, yeast, idk what else. All negative. QUE Lichen Sclerosis diagnosis by my sweet as pie gyno, without a biopsy, Bing bang boom.. here's some estrogen cream, ya look great "not what I thought by your description " god is that great to hear and also so annoying like DO YOU NOT SEE HER HURTING AS PLAIN AS DAY. My creams and ointment schedule was all chaotic going from 2x a day to 2x a week.. as told to by the doc. Bad idea bad plan turned no plan. Okay that was a month ago ish
I've had the worst flare in my life (of who knows fucking what) but it cleared up by the time Im seeing my gyno round 2. And by cleared up I mean im still itchy and uncomfortable but less. I show her pictures of a really bad day and she says "oh I think you have herpes" ill send you for blood test and that would make so much sense and were gunna figure this out (I've had multiple std screenings all come back negative but those were swabs not blood)
HSV 1 comes back positive but I get cold sores... and have since i was 10 yrs old.
And I still feel like i have a yeast infection and now I've completely forgotten about the Lil tiny skin change on my clit started all of this. Felt like I had a lil grain of sand where she connects to her cutie hood. A possible friction irritation if you will.
And now im here. I will say the doc hasnt gone over the positive result with me yet but either way its gunna be positive cause im coldsore gurlyyy sooooo
