Some Context: Diagnosed in 2022 at 283lbs. Was on 500mg diamox. Slowly titrated down and went fully off as of August 2024. Now weighing 228 lbs through whole foods and exercise. I get the odd headache here and there but haven't had to go to doctors or back on meds since.
I just found out I'm pregnant and very excited. I am nervous however about symptoms possibly increasing and not being able to take medication. I included my weight because I will be going through this pregnancy at a higher weight than doctors deem ideal. I'm wondering if anyone can share their experience of pregnancy while dealing with IIH, if their symptoms flared up, what they had to deal with etc. I'm going to speak to my doctor but I want to be prepared mentally for what I might be up against.
