Hello everyone, I’ve been eating canned mackerel for a while and wanted to try sardines for once, the smell and taste was very similar but they were much softer to the point that after trying to pick them up with the fork they all broke into small pieces! Some basically melt in my mouth, I was wondering if this is normal or it’s a sign they might have gone bad. The can looked perfectly sealed, just a bit oily outside.
