Hello everyone, i am a new rider and bought a honda nc750x as my first bike.

I just had a 400km trip and i am a bit puzzled by the rpm i should shift it at, in my first 200km i mostly kept the bike st around 2000-2300rpm and shifted ar around 3000rpm, or for another way to help you all visualize, it was at around 60kph in 4th gear and 80kph in 6th

On the other 200km i kept it at around 3000rpm or 70-75kph in 4th gear, 80-85 kph in 5th (i didnt really use the 6th gear)

The thing puzzling me the most is the fact that the bike seemed to consume less on the last 200km than in the first 200.

Now the big question is, what rpm do you all shift when outside and inside the town and what is the optimal rpm to shift?

Thanks in advice, safe roads everyone

I finally got a nc750x as my first bike. She rides like a dream and the videos with raw sound don't do justice to how good she sounds.
