This is personal tax, and not related to any business. I am a resident of Ontario and was required to make (pre-pay) tax instalments throughout 2025 as my 2024 tax liability exceeded the $3,000 threshold. However, my recently filed 2025 tax return resulted in a refund rather than a balance owing. Given that my 2025 net tax owing was below the $3,000 limit, am I still required to remit the scheduled instalment payments for the 2026 tax year? Thanks in advance for your inputs and feedback.
