Thanks to you all!

Posted a lot on here about different canoes and ended up with a beautiful Old Town Guide 147. I haven't ever owned my own but have a decent amount of experience.

Was worried it might be too small but it's perfect for my family's needs.

Got it for $350 with some gorgeous wooden old town paddles too.

Thanks so much everyone. Looking forward to all the adventures!

I'm wondering what some experienced folks think of this canoe. Would it be worth $500?

I like the idea that it is lightweight and durable. I will be primarily using it on a lake 2000 acres or so, 5 minutes from my house. Want it for relaxing paddles with my wife and to do some fishing.

Any advice appreciated!
