Hello.

Just finished beating Aenshin encounter number 2 and I probably snuck by because I'm at lvl 80. However read that the final encounter is more difficult so I want to be as prepared as possible.

Against recommendation, I'm going to stick with Ratha, as he's been my guy for pretty much the entire game. With that in mind, what are the best gene skills to equip him with? I understand that dragon attacks and anti-dragon damage are recommended? And I think maybe genes that boost the kinship gauge pretty fast?

Hoping to get some input here.

Thank you,

A step towards conservation - I raised the Rathian habitat level to S in every area of Azuria (using pink rathian) but nothing happened. What am I missing?

Repel/defeat the Elder Dragons in each area - I went to each area shown on the map in day and at night but no elder dragons showed up. What do I do to get them to spawn? And what does it mean by "repel" versus "defeat"?

Hello.

Been cruising through the game up till now. Truthfully, I've only been using 2-3 different monsties (Ratha and Tobi Kadachi mostly) and I haven't invested too much time in habitat restoration or gene splicing. I focused on main quests, side quests, and character side quests and have been mostly underleveled throughout.

So after almost an entire weekend of grinding levels (currently 77) I'm still not able to beat BAR. I can get him down to 25% health but his fire attacks in flying form end up taking away two hearts each time. So without grinding to level 90, what are some practical ways that I can get past this guy with my current team and how should I prepare for the final bosses that come after him.

I guess I'm just looking for some quick answers like what armor/weapon sets to use (if I have them) and which partner to use in battle.

Thank you

I ask this because I purchased MHS1 on Switch and while it was fun for a few hours I really couldn't get into it. But after hearing such great things about MHS3 I decided to buy it and it's honestly been one of the best overall gaming experiences for me in the past few years. I've heard some talk in this sub that part 3 is more streamlined, more mature, and easier to get into.

Given my experience with 3 would you recommend that I go back and complete 1 and then consider purchasing 2?

Thank you
