Hey folks! Got a text today saying my data is blocked because I hit the 50$ overage fee.

I was very confused as I work from home and have a large data plan but use very little. Logged into my account and it says I’ve used 93gb and I’m only 9 days into my billing cycle. There is no way that’s possible. Again I work from home so I’m on wifi most of the time and even if I wasn’t… 90gb in 9 days? I doom scroll insta but not THAT much!

I’m going to call virgin but is there a way to verify or prove I didn’t use that much? Looking at my data usage on my iPhone I only see how much has been used in my lifetime not more recently.

I’m super annoyed because a) I’m now being charged $50 for going over and b) I have no data access for another 20+ days and while I don’t use data excessively… I do need it.

Has this happened to anyone else?
