Everybody is playing 5 color good stuff on SOS Draft and that's bad

I’ve been playing a lot of Draft, and the early rounds usually are solid 2 color archetype decks, maybe with a splash. But once you get into the later matches, it feels like every opponent is on some kind of 5 color good stuff pile

I’m not sure that’s healthy for the format. If you’re playing a normal streamlined deck, you basically need THE perfect 2 color build or lots of luck to consistently compete with those decks. The fixing and coverage cards are strong enough that these piles rarely get punished for stretching their mana. And while the payoff cards are cool individually, losing to things like Mind Twist style effects in Limited just brings out the worst parts of Constructed for me.

Instead of games being about synergy, tempo, or combat decisions, they sometimes become "did they resolve the unbeatable bomb or not?". That make the format feel a lot less interactive and at least for me less fun.

Opinions on this Izzet Control deck

Im not sure if the 4 Traumatic Critique + 2 Flashback are good enough as finishers. Was thinking about using 3 Three Steps Ahead instead of 2 and 1 Mathemagics as a finisher/draw too
