Vintage Ring Estate Sale $2 - thoughts?

I found this vintage ring at an estate sale for $2.

I took it to our regular jeweler while we were getting our wedding rings cleaned/inspected (so we trust them). There are no markings, but they tested it in the store and its gold - so I was willing to pay for it to be sent off for certification.

It’s about a 2 week wait and I’m already getting antsy 😅

I would love any thoughts/input on the stone or age while I wait. I’ll come back and update after I hear back from them.

Thanks!
