I’m Flor Cano, a UGC creator and Social Media Manager specializing in travel, lifestyle and hospitality content. 2 months ago i created my own agency of hospitality canosocial.
I’ve been working as a UGC creator in the travel/hospitality space and over time I’ve collaborated with 20+ hotels, including Hilton and Marriott during a period I spent in Bangkok.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the type of content that performs best for hotels is not the typical “perfect” shots, but content that feels more real and experience-based.
Things that worked well:
- showing the full guest experience, not just the room
- mixing POV + storytelling instead of just visuals
- short-form vertical videos over traditional content
- making it feel like a recommendation, not an ad
