Hi! Planning a trip to Banff this May for a few nights and trying to figure out where to stay.

Looking at places like Moose, Otter, and Hotel Ca͏noe, but prices are higher than I expected for pretty basic rooms. Fairmont looks ama͏zing but definitely a big jump in cost.

I’ve been comparing options across a few platforms Super.com, Booking, etc. and the pricing isn’t always consistent, which makes it harder to judge what’s worth it.

Are there any tips for finding decent hotel de͏als in Banff, or is it more about booking early and going with whatever seems reasonable?

We’re aiming for mid–late May since it lines up with the Victoria Day long weekend, so not sure if that’s pushing prices up more than usual.
