Hi, I'm making a game and i decided to change the artstyle from pixel art to traditional, but my fil is already set to pixel game. Can I change it or do I need to make a new file and copy the existing code ?
Hi, I'm making a metroidvania and I'm still in the very early stages of creation. For a matter of fact, I didn't even choose if my game will be in pixel art of in "traditional" art.
The reason I'm asking is because I never did pixel art before, and I struggle a lot to make my vision come to life with pixel art. I tried to see the pros and cons of the two, and I found that pixel art requires less details but I struggle a lot, and traditional art requires more details but I will struggle way less. The time needed for both is not part of this equation, as I would take the same amount of time to complete both and in any case I don't care when my game will come out.
That's it, I just wanted the opinion of more experienced people on this subject to not throw myself in something I don't know
