Thinking of exploring this field
Hey everyone~ I’m a tired and slowly burning out toddler teacher. I like having a class but at the how management is and how early childcare education is as a whole, I’ve been thinking about other careers to explore in.
I came across child life through a search and was interested in it but wanted to ask those who work in it how it’s like for you.
For background about me I do have a BA in psychology and four years of early childcare, and I’m currently the lead teacher. I’m most likely going to need more education for this but I was thinking of also emailing a hospital nearby to shadow for a bit to see how it is.
Thanks in advance 🤍
