Why didn’t his parents especially Tony just take away is game boys and computer and just make him do chores. Do your chores or you don’t eat.
When you break it down neither of them were especially good parents because they both wanted quick fixes albeit through different methods.

Tony thought corporal punishment was the end all be all to parenting and Carmella thought appeasement and coddling was the way but both of these were just emblematic of absentee parenting.

It was further exemplified when Tony went to see Vito Jr and jumped straight to violent threats when he didn’t get immediate compliance from him. With all that kid was going through why would it not occur to Tony or anyone else in the crew to just spend some time with him and take him to some sports events. The Headmaster at the military academy laid it out perfectly when he said that parents dumping their kids into the for profit drug industry.

Their was never really any actual concern just a lot of emoting and melodrama.

With both of them being the children of mobsters on top of seeing what a soft and pampered upbringing did to AJ, I wonder if they will be somewhat of a throwback to their grandparents generation in terms of disciplining their children.

I was always pissed off that with all of Moltisanti’s training he never showed off his taekwondo skills even in a joking way. It was a real missed opportunity. And standing around in a GI on the office don’t count.

Marie is just about the nastiest character on that show exploiting Skylar’s need to get her daughter out of the house to reduce her to something akin to food. Her womb is so polluted she can’t even have a baby man.

At the end of the season 2 episode “House Arrest” their’s a car crash in front of Satriales and Pussy is seen in the distance watching Tony socializing with Agent Harris and his new partner before he walks back inside.

I’ve always had this theory that because of Big Pussy’s double life as a mobster and as an informant granted him a greater insight into Tony’s seemingly innocuous converstation.

Where the rest of his gang would just three guys shooting the shit and shining each other on, Pussy may have seen this instance as a foreshadowing of Tony possibly turning into an informant just like himself.

What‘s going on with Finn pulling out suitcases and dodging hypothetical fight questions? Does this kid have any balls?

Would’nt have been great if Paulie was at Hugo’s Party so he could have met and talked with his father The Governor Of Maryland. I think that it would have been interesting to see how similar genetics reconciled with class distinctions. It would’ve made for great dialogue especially in hindsight after Paulie’s Revelation. That’s the thing though, David Chase never saw the big picture.
