Hey all, looking for some advice and/or stories of people regaining fertility while on TRT.
Short story is, been on TRT for around 3-4 years, and also have a vasectomy. My wife had strongly not wanted children for ~20 years, but has recently changed her mind and wants to try for one. Luckily we have IVF coverage through insurance, so the vasectomy isn’t a huge stopper.
Went to the urologist who did the vasectomy, and recommended to stop TRT and get on Enclo or Clomid, along with HCG.
Question is, has anyone had success staying on Test but adding HCG? Or if you did cycle off TRT and onto Enclo, how was the mental side effects of coming off Test? My main concern is turning into an asshole for 6-9 months (or however long it takes) to regain fertility before going back to Test. Or is the HCG and Enclo enough to get close to TRT baseline that the side effects aren’t that drastic?
