NEW Grad Nurse wanting more

Hi there. As the title suggests I recently finished up nursing school and am starting work as a new grad RN. I have always wanted to be a doctor but got discouraged as I got my first undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science and did really poorly (GPAc of 2.62) due to a lack of maturity and direction at that time in my life and chalked it up to me not being smart enough to apply to med school. Fast forward now (I’m 30 years old for context) and I finished an accelerated BSN program with a 4.0 while working full time as an EMT and also having a family. I really want to be a doctor and I feel like this is my second chance at an attempt to pursue the career that I’ve always wanted. With how well I have done in nursing school I decided I want to do a DIY post bacc and complete the remaining credits for applying to med school with plans to apply in the 2028 cycle. My plan is to finish my remaining prerequisites by the end of 2027 and take the MCAT in the spring of 2028. Assuming I can get all A’s here is how my stats would line up.

Cumulative GPA: 3.3 with a strong upward trend
Science GPA: 3.00
Hopeful for a 510 MCAT with four months of dedicated study
Research hours: 200 as a volunteer in a lab studying hypoxic tissue injuries. No publications just hours working in a lab setting
Volunteer hours (nonclinical): 400 as a trail adopter
Clinical work hours: 10,000+ as an EMT and RN
Leadership: Secretary of Pre-Pharmacy club in first undergrad and Representative to the dean for my nursing cohort. Employee of the Year in the Emergency Department as well as preceptor for new staff

I guess my question is with these stats do I even stand a chance for applying to MD schools? Or should I try and set my sights for more of a DO application? Thank you for your feedback in advance!
