SCHP etf tax forms

If you hold SCHP US TIPS etf in a taxable account, do you jist get the 1099-DIV that covers both inflation adjustment and dividend earnings during tax season? You do not get 1099-OID, and you get 1099-B only in the year you sell any shares of SCHP?

Is holding SCHP or TIPS etf in a taxable account not a good ideain terms of earning, and tax?

I understand there is a phantom income (inflation adjustment), and dividends are all ordinary. If you hold SCHP or TIPS etf in a taxable account, do you get a simple straightforward 1099-DIV that covers both dividends and inflation adjustment? And I don't want to have to bother with 1099-OID and 1099-B. Do you get tax on capital gain, if any, in the year you sell any shares, and is that when you get 1099-B?

And overall, would you say now could be a good entry point into TIPS or SCHP etf?

Tax efficiency and tax complexity of holding TIPS etf in taxable account

Some sources say holding TIPS ETF in taxable account is tax inefficient due to phantom income (aka. inflation adjustment) in spite its earnings being state and local tax exempt. Do you get a simple straightforward 1099-DIV that covers both inflation adjustments, and ordianry dividend earnings without getting 1099-OID, and 1099-B. Is getting inflation adjustment really that bad on your tax bill, and create tax complexity? I tend to think holding individual TIPS bond would more likely create headaches and complexity during tax time. Do you get simple 1099-DIV covering both inflation adjustment and dividend earnings if you hold SCHP or TIPS etf in a taxable account? Do you get tax on capital gain, if any, in the year you sell any shares of SCHP or TIPS, and is that when you get 1099-B?

How to remit Maryland sales tax for one purchase

If you discover a merchant in Maryland didn't collect sales tax while you're Maryland individual resident, how do you remit the sales tax for this one purchase to comptroller of MD? Purchase is small and sales tax is negligible, but I am willing to pay it. From what I can research, MD form ST-118 seems to be the closest I can find to remit the sales tax for one purchase, but MD still doesn't have form ST-118 for year 2026 from what I can research, and some sources say MD form ST-118 is filed when out of state purchase is made from a merchant who doesn't have physical presence in MD and sales tax wasn't collected so this is confusing. If anyone knows, greatly appreciated. Will MD have form ST-118 for years 2026 available to public soon?
