I am new to the game and I really want to be good at it previously I played CODM

I really need some genuine advice to improve my gameplay. I’ve mostly played CODM before, so I’m used to that arcade-style gunplay, but now I’m struggling a lot when it comes to actual fights.

My main issues (especially in close range fights):

- I panic or rush too fast and lose control

- My tracking feels inconsistent

- I try to aim for the head but it feels like my bullets just don’t connect properly

- I choke a lot during fights and can’t combine aim + movement smoothly

The biggest problem is 1v1 fights — I almost always lose them. I either rush impatiently or mess up my aim completely under pressure.

Even when I’m aiming at the head, it feels like my shots just “dodge” the enemy somehow, which is super frustrating.

I really want to improve and play at a high level (like T1 players) because I’m planning to start creating content seriously.

So I’d appreciate any tips on:

- Crosshair placement

- Aim training routines

- Movement mechanics

- How to stay calm in fights

- How to transition from CODM-style play to more skill-based gunfights

Any drills, settings tips, or mindset advice would help a lot.

Thanks in advance😌😌
