My home-made safe cracker found the combination to an old safe I picked up, but I still cant get the door open.

Dial is an S&G group 2. When I dial the 3rd digit and go clockwize it jams at about 95. I believe the lever is falling into the gate but I dont think after that im getting any movement on the bolt. It just jams, I dont feel any resistance of the bolt moving. I dont want to pull too hard and break anything. Any advice to get it open? Is it possible that there it too much pressure on the bolt not allowing it to slide? What is the opening procedure for the door? Does the silver arm turn up or down or just pull?
