Dental pros, please answer. Who was this guy?

Tried posting in a dental/dentist sub but it got kicked back, not sure why.

I went to a new dentist. Asked to see the senior dentist, waited a month, at the appt, I was assigned the young (30ish) guy. Lets call him Dr Mike.

Dr Mike said I could use a small filling and he could repair a previous failed bonding on my front teeth vs crowns, which another Dr recommended. Great! The hygentist girl, assured me Dr Mike was great and he'd do great work.

I go in two weeks later, Dr Mike did the drilling for the filling and the prep for the new bonding. Then he stepped away.

During the prep work, there were two techs (so I thought) in the room. One guy, who honestly looked very young, started the filling, and he did the bonding on my front teeth. He was never introduced, I had no idea what his official role was.

After he was done, here comes Dr Mike to check my bite with that purple paper stuff, made any adjustments. Handed me a mirror and asked how I liked the bonding on my front teeth. One tooth was visibly longer, seriously, not by a tiny bit either. Dr Mike sanded it down, which is better, but still not 100%.

This other guy isn't noted on the website as one of the three dentists. (Its a family business, aside from Dr Mike). He was never explained.

I didn't want to be the a-hole and ask who he was at the time.

Luckily we have excellent dental, they cover practically everything 100%, except for veneers.

Thoughts?

I thought I found a great cat specialist (what the locals call her).

Its a smaller office. At any given time, from what I've seen, its the vet, a vet tech, and a front desk person. Whenever I'm there, I don't see other patients/owners. The phone isn't ringing off the hook. Its quiet.

At the second visit, cat needed a new rx, determined by the blood test. No problem. Got home, called to asked about dosage, voicemail. No answer until the next day.

A few weeks later, needed more blood work. Said they would call the next day with results. Nothing. It took a week for someone to give me an update after me calling them.

I've been ordering the rx from an online pharmacy, got a notice they need to contact the vet. No idea why so I waited. Later see it was cancelled due to no contact from the vet. UGH.

Last week I emailed the vet asking what happened...no response. Just sent a second email asking for info.

This is pretty unacceptable, correct?

My last vet would always answer calls, call you back with results, etc. I only stopped seeing him, after 25yrs because since covid, you can't go in the office....six years later.

I'm irked because I thought she was a nice older lady, knew her stuff, etc. Didn't surprise you with a crazy bill. People always rave about this office on local FB pages. 🤔
