I think I’ve seen a few of these posts, and it seems like everyone is going to Japan these days. So sorry to be another one of these. But I need to go eat Japanese food every day again.

I have 260,000+ points. And I’d like to have that cover flights and hotels for me and my wife.

I keep seeing things about transferring miles to other airlines, but I don’t totally understand it. I see flights in the C1 portal for $700-900. And when I look at transferring miles to Japan airlines, the cost of those flights is a bit higher.

Any recommendations or should I just book my flights and hotels through Capital one’s portal?
