I’m currently pregnant and I’ve noticed my bowel movements have been really sticky and hard to clean, no matter how much I wipe. It also sometimes feels like I haven’t fully finished, even after going.

It’s gotten to the point where I’ve noticed staining in my underwear, which is really frustrating and embarrassing. I’ve even irritated my skin from wiping too much.

Is this normal during pregnancy? What causes it, and is there anything that actually helps?
