Using a burner account, don’t want my friends knowing I’m going through this right now but holy fuck I just don’t know what I’m doing anymore.

I graduated high-school in 2021 and began university the following September. I decided to major in general science as I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in life , honestly I think this is where I made my first mistake. I stayed in general science for 3 years where I honestly just wasted money. Barely got through my required classes and only kept my gpa high from all the electives.

After 3 fuckin years of general science I decided I wanted to switch majors and go into computer science… holy fuck man

Spent the fourth year of my university just doing electives so I could boost my gpa and transfer in computer science.

Officially became a computer science student in year 5 of university. And I wanna say the year went good I aced my classes.

Now going into year 6 I have about 10 classes left to finish Untill I can officially graduate computer science.

But as I plan ahead I just so depressed thinking about how I’m going into year fuckin 6 of university and possibly even a 7

What a journey it’s been so far and the fact that the market for computer scientists just keeps getting worse is so demotivating.

Honestly I just need to hear some shit, how bad have I messed up , what am I honestly doing with my life.

How do I even tell employers I was in university for that long ? :(
