I went to go back to work after lunch and every single onramp going westbound to use I-40 is blocked. All the way from Klein blvd to blackwelder, Virginia, etc. blocked off fully with 3-5 police vehicles. Maybe even further east than Klein, I didn’t check.

Maybe I missed the advanced notice that this was going to happen, but it cost me an extra thirty minutes in my lunch to realize all the on-ramps were closed and finally ask one of the police officers if Reno was still usable. There was no signage on how to get around any of it and I couldn’t find anything on KOCO test traffic either.

The cop was unfortunately a bit of a jerk and waved me off twice before finally lowering his window… My taxes pay your salary but you can’t be bothered to tell me how I can get around twenty someodd cop cars in the same 3 square miles? Neat…

At any rate, Reno worked to get me back out west of the city after lunch in case anyone needs it.
