I drive a 2004 Honda civic and the radiator fan switch is no longer working. I tried replacing the sensor but that did not fix it. In testing to see if the plug/fans themselves still worked I put a paperclip in the plug and they turned on when I started the car.

I’m looking to purchase a new car soon and don’t want to put money into this car, I was wondering if there is any other wire, obviously other than a paperclip I can use as a temporary solution that runs the fan when I’m driving.

I already know this is a partially stupid question.

I just updated it yesterday night and today the battery was draining fast, even in low power mode. Also noticed it was quite warm too. This was my first update to the Tahoe OS.
