I want to design a church in Minecraft based on the 17th century for a town. My biggest questions were what were the most notable details about the time period would help to detail the church it self and how big were the churches back then.
I have a general idea of what I want but I would like to make it as historically accurate as I can with the town around it and things of that nature.

I’m planning on building a village and wanted to make a moc to see what I thought I could do. I’m newer to building and not sure what direction I should go with this tower yet.
The color scheme will change depending on if I do this in a snow or a jungle biome. I might make it into a bell tower but I’m still unsure. Thoughts on it?
I'm learning to build and I'm just looking for advice on what I can improve on.
