We are supposed to move tomorrow. I called the complex yesterday to see when we would get our welcome packet. How much we need to bring on Friday. We still have to get a moving truck. We transferred the lights and everything. They told me, “We haven’t gotten an approval for you guys to do that yet.” What?! What do you mean there’s no approval yet? I had called previously because I told them we needed the new address so we can set up lights, internet, etc. She provided me with the address. We completed this application months ago. She stated we could sign our lease and move in on May 1st. I said that’s great. A week ago we got an email saying, “Set up your residence portal.” It didn’t have any amount listed or appointment time. So now we have to cancel the lights because nobody called us today or sent an email. So we have to cancel our 60-day notice and try and find something else.
