On April 30th, Red Cat issued a press release naming Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force as the buyer of 173 Black Widow systems, naming specific Japanese partners (HAMA K.K. and ITOCHU Aviation), and citing Japan's Ministry of Defense procurement agency ATLA as the awarding body.
The official IR press releases page (ir.redcatholdings.com/news-events/press-releases) stops at April 16. The Japan release does not appear. It was issued 2 days ago and has been scrubbed from their own site with zero explanation or statement.
Q1 2026 earnings are May 7 - 5 days away. No comms from the company on why this release was pulled.
Possible explanations range from a CMS glitch to Japan MoD requesting a takedown to something more concerning about the accuracy of the details disclosed.
Anyone else notice this? Attaching screenshots of Google showing the release live, and the 404 on their own IR site.
