Land pride rtr1266 hooked up to a Kubota LX3301. The thing is spitting a good amount of oil out the weep hole in the breather plug on the gearbox. Sold a guy this tiller a week, ten days ago, and he's used it twice for a total of 5 hours or less. Doesn't seem normal. His first go around he noticed and called me so I picked it up, brought it back to the shop and it lost almost half the oil. Nothing looked out of the ordinary so we topped it off and I brought it back out. Few days later he calls and sends me a pic and it looks worse than the first time with oil and dirt caked on the back below the gearbox.
Anyone have something similar happen? Doesn't seem right to lose half the oil capacity out that little weep hole after tilling for a couple hours. I've never had anyone else bring up this issue. Maybe a gearbox problem, I don't know. Gonna call the rep in the morning but thought I'd post here to see if anyone had seen something similar.
