Hello all!
I'm a first time reddit user so bear with me. I am 20(F) from the U.S. and in the "what the crap do I do with my life?!" phase. I'm just getting done with my first year of college, but I'm not sure if I should continue pursuing a degree. Or even if I do want to continue, I am heavily considering a gap year. I would love to find a way to do some sort of work/travel abroad program in the UK. However, I don't really know where a good place to start that research is. I would love any recommendations on where to start- or even if this type of thing is a possibility. I would love the opportunity to do odd jobs here or there and get to travel; but again not sure if that is a possibility.
As far as work experience goes I will be honest, I don't have too much. I've been working as a server for the past 5 years as my main job. I also do some freelance videography and photography work here and there; as well as babysitting and some low budget acting gigs around my area (theatre & film). But I know a lot of that experience probably isn't transferable to anything I could find to work in.
If anyone has any ideas or recommendations about a work/travel programs or opportunities I would very much appreciate the help. Thank you all so much for any advice you can give!
