As a person with over 14 years of customer service experience I’ve found that people love when their name is used in conversation whether it’s the initial greeting or the goodbye, have a nice day _____! That personalized experience leave them more inclined to remember the guy who said their name, also after the greeting shit the hell up unless they initiate conversation , take care of your self AND your car! Put on some deodorant and shake your floor mats at the end of the shift.
People tip for the experience not the ride.
