I got in for fashion design for both. I want to have my own business one day, but for now what I care about is really getting involved and being in the industry. I don’t want to wait around, yk? FIT is supposed to be the best of the best, and some of the designers who are exactly where I want to be are from there. Being in the city also allows for more connections. Marist is also good for fashion- a lot of students have one big awards/scholarships. The school has more variety in curriculum and a lot of clubs. They also have a big and really nice campus, along with a good social community it seems. They are 90 minutes from the city tho. I already committed to Marist, but I can switch. I know much more about Marist than I know about FIT, but I can’t stop thinking about it. Whenever i say I committed to Marist I want to mention I got into FIT for fashion.
(P.S. I have a scholarship at Marist too, but money isn’t really a problem)
