Does anyone understand what's going on with student loans for international students?

Prodigy Finance stopped serving anyone who is non-indian.

MPower has increased barriers for qualification...

Right now there's no non-cosigner option for internationals except SoFi, and you still need a SSN to qualify (which means you need an internship).

Any context? How are you guys dealing with this?
