I'm just preparing for my first large train network after the revamp. With the update to rail logistics, what are our best options for compact depots for unloading goods at a central location? I want to bring in steel & copper plates, rubber, glass, etc etc - all the unit items that go into manufacturing finished goods. Previously I would have an unloading depot with its own storage for each goods type, which was quite space hungry. Has the update given us any options for compacting this at the delivery side? Is it possible to use the same station module for multiple goods types (assuming it empties in between) now? Anyone got any good examples?

Every map I play, I find myself getting sucked into a mid-game terraforming grind that slows me down terribly. I unlock trains relatively early in the tech tree, but there's SO MUCH terraforming needs done around my base before I can build a useful train route that I end up hundreds of years into the game before I ever lay my first track. I need to produce more food to support a bigger population, but laying out a serious food production setup with farms and food processing needs a shit load of clear, flat, earthy land that again means endless terraforming. Am I being too perfectionist here, trying to shoot for an endgame setup when there's another messy iteration to be done? Do people just build winding train routes up and over mountains before they can be flattened? What's the secret to keeping up momentum at this stage where I'm still not building things I unlocked in the tech tree two hundred years ago?
