Hi everyone!
I’ve always felt that Windows is missing that "premium" feel when it comes to desktop widgets. Most existing solutions are either too heavy (Electron-based) or look like they’re stuck in 2010.
So, I started developing GlanceCore.
The Tech Stack:
• Engine: .NET 10 / WPF (Native performance, no Electron RAM-eating).
• Visuals: Custom HLSL Shaders for "Liquid Glass" refraction and native Mica/Acrylic support.
• Performance: 60+ FPS hardware-accelerated animations.
• Architecture: Fully modular. Every widget is a standalone window managed by a central Hub.
I’m aiming for a "Rainmeter killer" that’s actually easy to use.

I’d love to hear your thoughts: What widgets are you missing the most in your daily workflow?
