I’m currently on Windows 11 on my desktop PC (i9 10900, RTX 3070, 32GB), and I feel like it’s starting to fall behind in performance in newer games as it gets older. Honestly, I’ve never been a Windows fanboy, and I only use my PC for playing Steam games, emulators, and watching YouTube.

At the same time, on my Xbox ROG Ally Z2A, I installed the official SteamOS and it’s been amazing—I absolutely love the system. But the Ally is fully AMD-based, which works great with SteamOS.

So that’s my question: with the recent updates to official SteamOS, I know they’ve been adding support for non-AMD hardware. Would it make sense for me to switch to official SteamOS now, or is it safer to go with Bazzite?

Thanks in advance!
