What to do with the motherplant

What to do with the motherplant

I have my beautiful Aloe aristata and she’s been making lots of pups lately, which I’d love to partially propagate 😊

My concern is that the mother plant has started getting very tall. I recently moved her to a north-facing window because she was stretching for light in her previous spot. I’m a little worried she might eventually fall over.

I’ve had her for years now, she was one of my very first plants. And she used to be super happy in my previous homes. Since moving last year, though, it’s been difficult finding the right place for her and with busy house renovations I admittedly neglected her a bit.

Is there a way to make her smaller? I’d really prefer not to throw away the mother plant. I currently water her every 2 weeks (in the winter only ones a month)
