I just got an AMEX personal Platinum card because my side gig is buying flights for people. I spend probably $20,000 a month on flights, getting 5x points per dollar spent, which is why I got the AMEX Platinum. How likely am I to get flagged and shut down for putting business spend on a personal card to utilize the high points multiplier? 😬 I, of course, will be opening other cards for sign up bonuses, but this will be my fallback card for flight spend during those off-times.
