Would like to get rid of some of these uprights. What are my options?
Wooden beam running the length of my house. Supported by wooden uprights that are strapped because they’re splitting.
Obviously metal posts is the way, but is there any chance I can remove a post or two or space them out a little more? They’re currently at 4’ apart.
Contractor suggested we could remove the yellow one and replace the grey one with the a metal one.
