Shifting guilt is hitting hard : should I go full-time BPO or focus on my 4 majors?

Honestly just looking for some perspective here. I’m an incoming 2nd year and I’m "delayed" by a year because I shifted from my first course. My family still pays for my tuition. I feel like a burden and the ego hit of seeing my batchmates in 3rd year is getting to me.

Next sem, I only have 4 major subjects left since I’m done with all my minors. Since I’ll have a lot of free time, I’m seriously considering a full-time BPO job to finally have my own money and feel productive.

But I’m torn:

  1. For those who were delayed/shifted—did working help you get over that "left behind" feeling?
  2. Should I just grind the degree and look for freelance/part-time instead?

I just don't want to feel like I'm doing "nothing" while waiting to graduate. Any advice?
