Saw alot of people here absolutely slandering market's recent behaviour. Blaming losses completely on the market.
So i thought it was good to slide in with some information that should be easily taken into account.
If your trading all types of market condition with the same strategy (Choppy, trending, hard expanding, you name it). Your bound to lose. And its never the markets fault.
Your just applying your strat to the wrong type of market.
So for the love of god, it's not the markets fault if your loosing money in conditions which are non optimal to your strategy.
For example: If you have a simple continuation strategy of sorts, and you decide to apply that to a choppy market, you are no longer trading, you are gambling.
Alot of what trading is about is waiting for the markets to be somewhat in your favor. So you can trade with it. If you don't trade bad conditions for your strategy, your protecting your capital long term, and your gains will be more significant in the long run.
