I’m doing my third rewatch and something finally clicked. Rimuru names like… everyone. Goblins, wolves, a dragon, even a literal storm. But has he ever stopped to think about the mana cost? Like bro just hands out names like candy on Halloween and then wonders why he’s tired. I know the anime explains the whole “naming consumes magicules” thing but it’s hilarious how he keeps doing it anyway. No self preservation instinct whatsoever. Just “oh you’re cute, here’s a name, good luck.”

And then he acts surprised when Tempest becomes a whole nation. Like yeah, you named half the forest, what did you expect. Anyway this is my favorite dumb detail about the show.
