So I did my first biopsy since my diagnosis back in January, and got the results back today.. pathology shows little improvement with the IUD treatment and that I have the beta catenin mutation. I’m waiting for scheduling to contact me to make an appt with my oncologist so we can go over next steps but I’m honestly kind of spiraling. Has anyone been in the same situation? How did your doctor move forward? I know each patient/doctor is different but it would be nice to know what to expect. I thought maybe the IUD just needs more time to work? But definitely don’t want to wait on it, especially with a mutation. I was hoping to put off surgery so I could work on my weight loss but I don’t know if that’s even a possibility now. I just feel really defeated. Was anyone able to delay surgery with alternative treatments? They did say it’s stable, and it looks similar to the first pathology they reviewed so at least it’s not progressing..
