Trevor Philips

GTA five is one of the most popular video games of all time, yet one character seems to get overlooked the most when regarding depth. I wont deny the fact that Trevor is a psychotic killer, but i will deny the fact that this isn't all his character has to offer. Trevor as a character truly shines when he is with Michael, when these two characters are together they act as "two sides from the same coin." which is actually said by Trevor in the games dialog. The parallels between Michael and Trevor are not often talked about, at least from what I've seen. When these two argue, which they do a lot, Michael calls him a killer, a hypocrite, and everything in between. Yet Trevor doesn't deny these insults, instead he tells Michael that at least i'm okay with what i am. This is what really grabbed my attention, the conflicting nature these two have, are just the things they hate most about themselves. And in the mist of this, his family leaves him due to the chaos Trevor brings with him during the story. These events leave Michael in a state of stress. Not only does he have to work for corrupted government agents, he also has to fight his nature, a nature in which he sees in Trevor. The violent nature that Trevor has is the violent nature in which Michael is actively trying to fight against to keep the life he once had with his family. While Trevor, in a way, is also dealing with his past. The change in Michael's behavior disturbs Trevor, this is due to the fact, as i mentioned before with Michael, that Michael's hesitation to commit acts of chaos could very well be seen to Trevor as a piece of his past, as peace of himself. So when confronted with these changes in Michael's behavior it could very well mean a change in himself. This is why i believe Trevor is to be the perfect antagonist for the story of GTA 5, and why i also believe that he is the most misunderstood.

With this dlc I have some questions. I know this is a dlc, and yet I think people appreciated the faster paced movement. Now, was the movement good because of the dlcs format? Or was it good because it allowed the bosses to be more flexible with bigger and cool moves? I could be wrong on both fronts. But sekiro had the same type of fast paced gameplay and I thought it fit perfectly, even if the gameplay is very different. So for the next souls game, whether it’s Elden ring two or something else entirely, do you think they’ll keep the fast paced movement? Or will they stick with the more slow and roll dependent movement? Personally I like the faster movement but I understand nostalgia can be a factor. So let me know what you guys think from software should do!

I’m super excited for this action packed blood bath of a game. I’m sure the combat will be great! But so was spider man twos combat and yet the story felt…. a bit lacking. So let’s hope they make a decent story for this game. As much as I LOVE combat, a good story ties it all together.

Return? Immortal severance? Purification? Shura? Let us know! I got all the endings and my personal favorites is purification, mainly due to the fact that it was quite sad.
